Los Angeles, CA – October 1, 2020 – Extraordinary Families, a leading nonprofit committed to serving children and youth in foster care, is pleased to announce the election of five new members to our Board of Directors. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise in their fields and will be tremendous assets to the agency as we further our mission of helping children and youth in foster care have the childhoods and futures they rightfully deserve.

“I am thrilled to welcome Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Jessica Kastner, Miguel Sanchez Lascurain, Michelle Visage, and Tiffany White Stanton as new Board members,” said Barnaby Murff, Chief Executive Officer. “They join Extraordinary Families at an exciting time as we continue to ensure safe and loving homes for an influx of children entering foster care and build deeper relationships with our public and private partners in this work.”

The new members join Board leadership consisting of Fenton Bailey, co-founder of World of Wonder; Leonardo Bolanos, vice president, banking relationship advisor at Northern Trust Wealth Management; Sarah Boone-Perez, social worker at Kane County Hospital; Dawn Bridges, director of information technology at KTGY Architecture + Planning; Angela Bromstad, executive producer; Brooke Halsband, associate at Hyland & Hyland; Barnaby Murff, CEO at Extraordinary Families; Francesca Orsi, senior vice president, drama series at HBO; Jocelyn Tetel, vice president of advancement at Skirball Cultural Center; Steve Vai, musician and philanthropist.
